Sensei Graham Slater has worked with Sensei Vince Morris ( UK based Kyushu Jitsu specialist) for many years since first meeting in 1993. Sensei Slater through the IMA has brought Sensei Morris to Australia numerous times to help develop more instructors in this very effective method of stopping an attacker with pressure point manipulation. Sensei Morris adds his own street-wise philosophy to further enhance the use of this type of training. This photo shoot was taken in Sensei Slater's private dojo in Melbourne on Sensei Morris's last trip to Australia for a Blitz magazine article.

Defence against a knife held across the throat

2a. Sensei Morris and Sensei Slater face off with the knife held across the throat.

2b. Sensei Morris waits for the appropriate timing then traps the knife and simultaneously strikes the face momentarily stunning Sensei Slater.

2c. Sensei Morris prepare for a knife hand strike to Sensei Slater's elbow joint to buckle the arm.

2e. Sensei Morris strike lands and draws Sensei Slater downward and inward combining force of the momentum to execute a ‘Liverpool kiss' to the nose.

2f. Sensei Morris uses this momentum created by the impact of the strike to turn Sensei Slater around into the wall for a crashing home coming.
