IMA HISTORY

The International Martial Arts Alliance offically launched in 1993 with three founding countries Australia, Japan and England. Graham Slater the Founder travelled extensively for a number of years prior to creating the IMA visiting martial art school owners around the globe to find appropriate alliances.

What we do now is important but what we have done in the past is equally as important because it has helped develop a much better martial arts industry. Keep watching this place for the history of the IMA.

Another handy tip for running your martial arts school / club
Opening a new school and don’t know if you should get insurance? Our tip is don’t open a school without it. It doesn’t matter if you run a karate, kung fu, brazilian jiu jutsu, kickboxing, muay thai, taekwondo school / club etc you can obtain insurance.
